Airbnb is adding an optional AI search mode to its app as part of a September 30 product update, TechCrunch reports. Travelers can describe a property in text or by voice, then receive filters that reflect the request. The example in the report starts with a request involving a baby and surfaces options such as cribs, playgrounds and children’s books. Airbnb also plans AI-generated summaries to help compare saved listings and reviews.
