Amap parallel AI agent activity report

Independent researchers reported traces of parallel AI agent activity querying Alibaba’s Amap pages through URLquery, a public website scanning service. Their preliminary report, published October 4 and updated October 5, describes repeated attempts to learn which entrances people use at public places. TechCrunch covered the findings on October 5. The researchers associated some infrastructure with Tencent Cloud but say that does not identify the operator; they found no evidence that the agents communicated with one another.
