Anthropic opened Claude for Google Workspace as a public beta for paid Claude subscribers on October 6. The add-on places Claude in a sidebar within Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, where it can inspect the open file and selected content and propose or apply edits. Anthropic also introduced separate beta connectors for creating and editing Google files from Claude.
