Ghost Core local AI computer launch timeline
Ghost emerged from stealth on October 5 with Core, a $3,499 computer for locally run AI models and agents, TechCrunch reported after interviewing founder Zain Javaid. The company also disclosed an $11 million seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz. Ghost’s product page lists an Nvidia RTX Pro 4000 Blackwell GPU, 64 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD. It now labels the first batch sold out and says those units will ship October 31. The company’s claims about continuous personal context, privacy and agent security are product claims; the reviewed sources do not establish how Core performs in customers’ hands.
