Kyoto Vision for a Golden Age of Science timeline
The United States and 16 other countries endorsed the Kyoto Vision for a Golden Age of Science at the Science and Technology in Society Forum in Japan on October 4. The White House says the declaration encourages new research funding methods, wider access to AI tools and scientific infrastructure, and support for early-career researchers. It describes a shared policy direction, not a binding treaty or a newly funded program.
