What happened lately
Meta says it has deployed new AI systems to identify ads that may look harmless while covertly pointing to child sexual abuse material hosted elsewhere. The measures include a language-model detector for indirect signposting, checks on ad destinations, broader AI scans and an agent that probes Meta’s defenses. Meta says it has blocked identified links and disabled violating accounts. TechCrunch reported the announcement, but the reviewed sources do not independently measure the new tools’ detection accuracy or establish that every such ad has been removed.
