Meta published open-source ESP32 and Linux SDKs for connecting custom hardware to the Muse AI assistant.
What happened lately
Meta’s Muse Gadgets project provides open-source firmware and SDKs for ESP32 and Linux devices. The official site proposes displays, sensors, buttons and home-network integrations as possible ways to extend Muse beyond a computer screen. The source repository is public under Apache 2.0.
Meta also advertises a limited Muse Home Link device for active US subscribers. The site says a claim reserves a place, not a completed order, and expects shipments in October. The SDK release is available now; availability and reliability of any individual hardware setup remain separate questions.
