OpenAI and Atlassian expanded partnership timeline
OpenAI and Atlassian announced an expansion of their existing partnership on October 6. The agreement gives Atlassian access to newer GPT models for Rovo agents and other platform experiences, while Atlassian’s Teamwork Graph supplies context about projects, documents and decisions. OpenAI also described plugins that bring Jira and Confluence context into ChatGPT and Codex. VentureBeat reported that Atlassian plans to keep Rovo’s model routing across multiple providers rather than make GPT-6 Astra its default. The companies are exploring deeper Jira agent features, but those future integrations are plans rather than completed product launches.
