Reflection AI open-weight model plan

Axios reports that Reflection AI is preparing its first open-weight model and discussing a related enterprise AI factory concept with potential users. The publication says the model is expected to be competitive with leading Chinese open-weight systems but to trail the most advanced U.S. proprietary models initially. Those are expectations from Axios’s sources, not independently measured results. Reflection declined to comment to Axios, and the model has not yet been released.
