Agents inside a trading account
Robinhood announced an in-app AI agent product at its HOOD Summit. The company says customers will be able to choose a model, give an agent instructions, and use it to research markets, develop strategies and place trades using funds in a dedicated agentic account. Robinhood says Agents and related data apps are coming soon for eligible U.S. customers; the announcement is not evidence that the product is already generally available.
Approval is a user setting
Robinhood’s product disclosures say trade approval is on by default. Customers may turn it off, allowing an agent to place orders without confirming each transaction. The company also describes future Loops that could repeat a strategy while the user is away. Those features make the controls and risk disclosures central to the story. CNBC reports the wider summit also included plans for weekend stock trading, which Robinhood says remain subject to regulatory review.
