TII Falcon-Emirati Arabic model announcement

Abu Dhabi’s Technology Innovation Institute announced three models on October 6. Falcon-Emirati is a seven-billion-parameter language model designed for Emirati Arabic. Falcon-ASR is a 1.6-billion-parameter speech-recognition model covering Emirati and Modern Standard Arabic plus several other languages. Falcon-OCR-Arabic targets text and structured content in images and documents. TII says Falcon-Emirati will be available through its Falcon Chat platform and reports strong internal benchmark results. The announcement does not establish broad access to downloadable weights or independent performance results for the three models.
