Xreal Aura Android XR glasses

Xreal announced prices of $1,279 and $1,499 for its Aura Android XR glasses and opened preorders to customers who previously paid a reservation deposit. The wired glasses use a separate compute puck, and Xreal says Gemini will provide AI assistance within Android XR. The company plans general orders in the coming weeks and initial shipments in the United States, Canada, Japan and South Korea, without a fixed delivery date. Engadget independently reported the limited preorder opening. The announcement establishes pricing and restricted access, not general availability or completed shipments.
