Local AI for Omarchy timeline
Local AI for Omarchy is an MIT-licensed desktop plugin for Omarchy’s Quattro shell and bar. It downloads pinned model weights, runs serving engines in Docker, and launches existing coding agents against a keyed local gateway. The plugin is not itself a model provider or a fork of those agents.
Version 6.17.0 documents private internal engine networks and requires Docker 28 or later. Setup enables Omarchy’s root-equivalent Sudoless Docker access with confirmation. Model licenses, hardware requirements and any optional provider costs remain separate from the plugin license.
