What is this?
Voyager is an embodied-agent research project built around Minecraft. The agent explores an open world, writes and reuses skills, and uses the game as a persistent environment in which behaviour can accumulate.
Why it belongs here
The project makes a strange but useful idea concrete: an agent can learn a growing library of capabilities by acting in a world instead of answering isolated prompts. Minecraft provides visible state, goals and consequences, which makes the loop easier to reason about.
Who should look at it?
Researchers interested in long-horizon planning, skill discovery or embodied agents should start with the repository and its accompanying research. It is also a strong example of why an evaluation environment matters to agent design.
What to inspect
Look at how skills are represented, retrieved and evaluated. The interesting boundary is between an action that merely works once and a reusable capability that can be called again in a different situation.
