Meta brings Muse to iPad and plans a Windows app
The iPad update is available now with a layout for the larger screen; a native Windows version was announced without a release date.
An iPad layout for an existing agent
Meta’s Muse agent now has native iPad support in its iOS app, The Verge reported on October 7. The update adapts the interface to the tablet’s larger screen and multitasking features; a Muse-related Threads post also announced the iPad availability. This is a platform expansion of the existing assistant, not the launch of a new underlying model. TechCrunch reports that the current connector list includes business tools such as Asana, Canva, Dropbox, GitHub and QuickBooks, with users choosing which accounts to connect. The connector additions build on Muse’s earlier small-business expansion rather than creating an entirely separate agent.
Windows is still a plan
At Microsoft’s October 7 event, Windows and Surface chief Pavan Davuluri said a native Muse app would come to Windows, according to The Verge. No release date was given, so Windows availability should not be inferred from the live iPad update. Muse already had a Mac app, and this announcement points to a wider desktop strategy. Neither the iPad release nor the Windows plan independently establishes that Muse completes connected tasks reliably or that every service allows agent access. Those limits remain relevant when the assistant handles email, shopping or business accounts.
