What Meta announced

Meta introduced Muse for Small Business on September 29, adding connections to Instagram professional analytics, Facebook Pages, Meta ad accounts and external business tools. Its announcement describes uses such as reviewing sales and campaigns, drafting marketing plans and identifying unusual expenses. TechCrunch lists Shopify, Dropbox, Slack, QuickBooks and Stripe among the available integrations. The company says custom connectors are supported and that the full current list is visible in Muse settings.

Access and limits

Meta says Muse is free for most use with subscription plans for more usage; TechCrunch describes the free tier as having usage limits. The company’s announcement does not provide independent measures of task accuracy, time saved or customer adoption. The examples in the announcement are product demonstrations and testimonials, not verified performance benchmarks.

The launch extends Muse from personal tasks into business records and operational decisions. That gives permission scope and review of agent actions practical importance. A separate Guardian report about Muse sharing a Marketplace seller’s address concerns a consumer workflow; it should not be taken as proof that these new business connectors have the same failure. It does show why businesses should understand each connector’s access and approval settings before delegating sensitive work.
