Why now Meta published its English announcement on October 12 at 17:08 UTC, introducing both models and their distinct access routes.

Two models, different access

Meta introduced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full on October 12 as models designed for personal and professional agent tasks. Muse Wonder is available now to developers through the Meta Model API and Muse Code; Wonder Full is available to Muse Code subscribers. Meta says Muse Wonder will later power experiences in its consumer Muse app, starting with subscribers. The announcement is therefore a model launch with developer access today, not evidence that all Muse users already have the new model.

What Meta claims

Meta describes Active Memory, meant to carry useful context across conversations, and Active Focus, intended to keep an agent working through difficult tasks and ask before important actions. Its examples include interpreting an insurance claim or lease and building an app. The company calls the models state of the art on agentic and coding tasks, but the announcement does not establish independent performance in those workflows. Meta says it trained the models to protect private information and resist harmful requests, while a fuller safety-evaluation report remains forthcoming. Those safeguards and real-world reliability still need scrutiny as the models reach users.
