SAS AI Navigator Marketplace launch launch Verified

SAS launches AI Navigator for enterprise AI inventories

The standalone governance service is listed on Microsoft Marketplace for tracking models, agents and business use cases.

Why now SAS announced Marketplace availability on October 5 at 14:38 UTC, and the live listing describes the product and its terms.

A registry for AI systems

SAS announced on October 5 that AI Navigator is available through Microsoft Marketplace. The software-as-a-service product is intended to give organizations one inventory of predictive and generative models, AI agents and the business uses built around them. SAS says teams can document internal policies and external regulations alongside those assets, rather than changing how each model is built. Its product page describes governance workflows and records for review, while the Marketplace listing presents the service as a standalone product that does not require SAS Viya or other SAS software.

Availability and limits

The Marketplace listing says organizations need Microsoft Entra ID for identity management. It offers the first six months free, then switches to pay-as-you-go pricing. These are published product terms, not evidence that the service will automatically discover every model or make an organization compliant with a law. SAS itself says information in AI Navigator does not constitute legal advice or guarantee compliance. The launch gives AI and risk teams a new place to document their systems; the completeness of an inventory and the value of its controls will depend on how customers implement and maintain it.
