Your agent's VM loses LLM access on purpose: boxery 0.9 changes the rules
Community reports 5 sources
Community VM tooling that lets MCP coding agents and Pi create, fork and operate Linux desktops through a host-controlled credential and grants layer.
What happened lately
boxery supplies VM lifecycle, shell, file, browser and desktop tools to an existing coding agent. It supports MCP clients and a native Pi extension; it is not a model provider. Its host runs on macOS or Linux and controls local or remote VM backends.
Version 0.9.0 makes LLM-provider access an explicit per-VM grant. The MIT-licensed project remains early-stage, and its Cloud Hypervisor, exe.dev and boat.dev backends are marked experimental.
