Pi Herdsman coordinates background Agents and branch-based project work around Pi and Herdr. Pi runs the conversations, Herdr supplies terminal sessions and workspaces, and Herdsman handles delegation and supervision. It is a separate Apache 2.0 community package, rather than a model provider.

The November 3 v0.38.1 release targets a Pi 1.5.0 compatibility defect in inherited tool tracking. Its documented runtime baseline is Pi 1.5.0, Herdr 0.9.5 and Node.js 22.19.0 or later, with Linux, macOS and Windows installation paths.
