Community reports 5 sources
An open-source autoresearch harness that coordinates agent experiments, separate judging and live campaign monitoring on user-controlled machines.
What happened lately
Thermite coordinates hill-climb, goal and research campaigns through a dashboard, REST API and MCP interface. Its stated design separates agents that propose changes from a judge that measures them. This is a project architecture claim, not proof that every configured experiment produces a valid result.
The Apache 2.0 project provides pinned container images for Linux or macOS with Docker Compose or Podman. Real agent campaigns require a supported model connection. Model-written code executes on the user’s machines, and Compose deployments allow access to the local network.
