OpenBMB released MiniCPM-V 4.7 on October 12. The family includes a 35B-A3B mixture-of-experts vision-language model and a 1B variant. Its English model card describes image, multi-image and video understanding, with downloadable weights and deployment guides. OpenBMB says its Lookahead Expert Scheduling technique helps the larger model run on mobile devices by preloading likely expert weights. The project’s iPhone throughput and memory figures are developer-reported results, not independent measurements. The 35B-A3B model appeared in a Hugging Face trend observation on October 13; that observation does not establish a second release or a growth rate.
