AnySpeechRecognizer mirrors Apple’s modern Speech API while supporting alternative engines, including Parakeet and Qwen3-ASR. It adds Sortformer speaker diarization. AnyDecisionModel exposes binary, multiple-choice and ordinal decisions with probability distributions through local and hosted backends.
These are community packages by Mattt, announced together on October 29, 2026. Hardware requirements and capabilities vary by backend. The decision package warns that confidence measures concentration of probabilities, not the chance an answer is correct.
