ChatGPT GPT-6 Intelligent UI rollout launch Verified

OpenAI starts rolling out GPT-6 and interactive answers in ChatGPT

A new ChatGPT model can compose answers with interactive charts, controls and task-specific tools; paid tiers get the rollout first.

Why now OpenAI announced the ChatGPT rollout on October 7, and TechCrunch reported its press demonstration at 18:00 UTC.

ChatGPT gains interactive responses

OpenAI announced on October 7 that it is bringing GPT-6 into the main ChatGPT conversation experience alongside a feature it calls Intelligent UI. Instead of presenting every answer as a text block, the model can assemble responses with graphics, buttons, charts, forms and interactive tools such as calculators. OpenAI says it uses a library of native components and a compiler that can display an interface progressively while the model generates it. TechCrunch reported seeing a company press demonstration in which ChatGPT produced visual explanations, including diagrams about how an airplane wing creates lift. That demonstration shows the intended behavior, not an independent reliability test across everyday prompts.

A staged rollout

OpenAI says GPT-6 with Intelligent UI begins rolling out globally on October 7 to ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users in the Chat tab. It plans to extend the rollout to Free and Go users the following day; enterprise access can depend on administrator settings. The company says the paid tiers use a GPT-6 Sol variant and the lower-cost tiers use GPT-6 Luna for this experience. OpenAI also says this release does not change the models behind Work or Codex. The announced schedule is a rollout plan, so it does not establish that every eligible account already has the feature. OpenAI’s comparisons with older models are internal evaluations, not independently verified performance guarantees.
