The October 12 release gives coding-agent threads a phone-friendly layout and clearer ways to reply, skip questions or set a thread aside.

An agent Inbox that fits the phone

Plannotator’s October 12 v0.28.16 release redesigns its coding-agent Inbox for phone screens. The project’s English release notes say the thread list now uses two-line rows, opening a thread takes over the screen, attached files have their own view, and the reply box stays above the keyboard. An agent’s question can also trigger an optional sound when the Inbox tab is in the background on Chrome for Mac. These are shipped interface changes described by the project, not an independent test of every device or browser.

The more consequential change is how a person clears a question. Sending a reply without answering every question now tells the agent which ones were skipped, unless the person chooses to keep them open. Mark read moves a thread into a quiet section, closes its open questions and tells the agent not to wait; the release includes an undo path. That reduces ambiguity when several coding agents are asking for review at once.

What is actually new

The Inbox began as an earlier preview. This release refines its mobile layout, notifications, attachment navigation and reply handling; it does not introduce the Inbox for the first time. Plannotator’s English reference says the service runs on the user’s computer and binds to the local interface by default. Access from another device can be published over a tailnet, so the phone workflow depends on that setup rather than a public hosted Inbox.
