exe combines a browser desktop, host terminals and persistent Linux virtual machines in a Go application. Its agent windows launch the installed Claude Code or Codex CLI on the host, keeping each harness’s normal authentication and permissions. Virtual-machine isolation is separately configured.
The October 15, 2026 release connects the separate Projects issue tracker to those agents: an issue and comments can become a new session’s task in a local project folder. This requires tmux, which the manual says is absent on Windows. Linux and macOS hosts with tmux can retain sessions after their browser windows close. Projects is installed from its own repository; the desktop’s Extras configuration connects it. AITrending reviewed documentation rather than executing this workflow.
