Girru timeline
Girru is a standalone desktop agent workspace from Dpro, previously called Agent Player and briefly Dpro. Its English README describes specialist agent roles, permissions, memory and a shared task board. It can connect to separate tools such as Claude Code and Codex using the user’s own account, subject to provider terms and plan limits, as well as local or cloud model routes.
Version 1.4.1 improves setup discovery of accessible projects, memory, skills, MCP connections and SSH identity metadata. Its release notes describe durable background import improvements; the versioned README still marks broader chat-history and memory import as in development. The project is MIT-licensed. These descriptions are project claims, not an AITrending installation test.
