Hivemind is Activeloop’s Apache-2.0-licensed shared-memory integration for coding agents. It captures session traces into Deeplake and exposes team memory through host-specific integrations. It is separate from the coding assistants and their model providers.
Version 0.7.166 documents proactive teammate recall in Claude Code. Background synchronization copies condensed team summaries into a local cache; failure and prompt triggers search that cache without embeddings. Local lookup does not make the overall service offline: synchronization and shared storage remain cloud-backed by default.
