An MCP server and CLI that uses a hosted decision model to rank crawl links and return relevant verbatim web passages to AI agents.
What happened lately
Jevcrawl is an Apache-2.0 Python tool with crawl, scrape and map operations for MCP clients and the command line. Its hosted Jev decision model scores links and passages, while returned passages retain their source URLs and character offsets.
Version 0.1.0 was published October 13. The default setup requires a TypeSafe API key and sends page text, link labels and URLs to TypeSafe for scoring. It does not execute JavaScript or log into websites. Its published cost and accuracy comparisons are the author’s small-sample evaluations, not independent guarantees.
