LlamaForge timeline
LlamaForge manages upstream llama.cpp through a Python backend and a browser dashboard. It can install official engine builds, manage local GGUF files, configure clients and connect coding agents. It is a separate application, not a model or an official ggml-org product.
The November 3 v0.18.27 release adds a same-model speed comparison between the user’s current build and a selected llama.cpp pull-request build. The project describes itself as an early preview, with Windows and NVIDIA the most tested path. Documented support also includes Linux and Apple Silicon macOS, with less real-hardware testing.
