Nexus-CLI is a standalone MIT-licensed community bridge, rather than a coding-assistant plugin or a DeepSeek model release. Its English README advertises a local proxy for OpenAI, Anthropic and Ollama request formats, plus launch commands for coding harnesses.
The upstream service is DeepSeek’s hosted web chat, authenticated with a web-account session token. Emulating an Ollama endpoint does not run model weights locally.
