A local web workbench for Claude, Codex and Pi-backed model sessions, with project tabs, terminal and browser tools.
What happened lately
OpenCockpit is an MIT-licensed web workbench around existing agent engines. It offers separate project and model tabs, local terminal and browser tools, session history and code review. Users supply the model access appropriate to each engine; it is not itself a foundation model or a source of bundled inference credits.
Version 1.1.1 introduces Pi-backed child-agent sessions and exact repeated-tool-cycle detection for those children, plus steering of a running Codex turn. The README requires Node.js 22.19 or newer and describes Windows support as experimental.
