Pax8 8os and 8bot

Pax8 announced 8os and 8bot on October 19, 2026. The former is a management layer for IT providers serving multiple small-business customers; the latter is a managed AI coworker that employees can give tasks, with provider support and customer-level usage visibility.

Pax8 describes each 8bot seat as a dedicated cloud computer with its own browser, files and memory. App connections begin read-only, and the product FAQ says write actions require separate permission and approval. These are vendor-described controls, not an independent security evaluation. Third-party agents managed through 8os do not necessarily share 8bot’s protections.

The announcement describes limited early access during launch week and general availability planned for early 2027. The 8bot product page separately says access begins in January 2027. Providers should confirm eligibility, supported connections and pricing rather than assume immediate unrestricted availability.
