Tether timeline
Tether provides a Python SDK and headless CLI for agents that use explicitly enabled tools through a common action dispatcher. Its documented workflow stores session output in SQLite and retrieves older observations with memory commands. Ollama, OpenAI-compatible endpoints and native Anthropic access are separate model choices.
The MIT-licensed tether-sdk package requires Python 3.12 or newer and installs the tether command. Model hosting, provider credentials and costs remain separate. Version 0.0.3 adds active-output compaction and consecutive identical-call interception; its documented Linux shell controls have not been independently audited by AITrending.
