Blueprints AI second-generation drafting software timeline

Blueprints AI told TechCrunch on October 12 that it plans to unveil a second version of its construction-document software at Disrupt this week. The founders say a user can begin with a description or sketch and generate coordinated architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and interior drawings. The company says design changes then update the document set and are checked against local building codes. Early customers are using the version, according to the founders; broader availability is planned for this week rather than confirmed as already complete.

The startup’s English site describes drafting toward code-compliant plans and says a licensed professional remains responsible for final review and sealing. TechCrunch also reports that licensed architects still review and stamp documents before permit submission. Claims about speed, completeness and compliance come from the company and its founders, not an independent audit of generated plans. A document described as permit-ready is not the same as an approved permit.
