VOLTA's LLM victim appraisal timeline
Cisco Talos’s October 31 research describes VOLTA-AUTODOXER, a Windows infostealer with an optional post-theft model call. According to researcher Ryan Fetterman, it structures stolen information into a victim dossier and asks a model to rank assets by potential monetization value.
Talos documents configured model fallback behavior and a route through OpenRouter. That configuration does not establish that every named provider fulfilled the request, nor that the malware successfully bypassed all model safeguards. The report identifies the analyzed sample as first seen October 11; October 31 is the research publication date.
