Qwen Image Turbo Multi-format Quantizations Momentum Community reports

A 4.05GB Qwen Image Turbo GGUF has a bigger setup bill

abenzerps's multi-format package appears in a fresh Hugging Face trending snapshot, with GGUF, Safetensors and MLX options—and separate companion models that matter for setup.

Why now The package was observed in Hugging Face trending discovery at 00:24 UTC on November 4; its September 20 repository creation and November 3 update are retained rather than presented as a new model release.

The diffusion file is small enough to catch your eye. The rest of the image-generation pipeline still needs room. abenzerps’s Qwen-Image-2.1-Turbo-Quantized package appeared in AITrending’s November 4 Hugging Face trending discovery, bringing a practical community conversion into editorial focus.

This is coverage of an existing package, not a new model launch. Hugging Face metadata records repository creation on September 20, 2026, and its latest update on November 3. The current snapshot shows 5,623 likes and 2,508,590 downloads. Those are platform counters, not unique users or evidence of an increase over a measured interval.

Pick a runtime, then count the companion files

The English card offers GGUF, FP8, INT8 ConvRot, NVFP4 and MLX weights. Its author recommends Q4_K_M as a starting point for GGUF and INT8 ConvRot for ComfyUI Safetensors. The listed Q4_K_M diffusion file is about 4.05 GB.

That is not a complete pipeline or a VRAM requirement. The documented ComfyUI setup also needs a text encoder and VAE: the card lists a 9.35 GB INT8 ConvRot text encoder and a 0.68 GB BF16 VAE, among other choices. Resolution, offloading and the runtime also affect memory use.

For ComfyUI, the guide points users to the official Turbo template and a separate GGUF loader when choosing that format. Command-line users are directed to stable-diffusion.cpp. MLX uses a separate MFLUX preparation path, with version 0.24.0 specified in the card; the guide requires Python 3.11 or newer and a supported MLX platform.

Eight steps means the right schedule

The upstream English Turbo card confirms an accelerated seven-billion-parameter visual architecture using eight denoising steps and CFG 1. The community instructions emphasize retaining the official sigma schedule: setting an ordinary sampler to eight steps is not sufficient to reproduce that schedule. At CFG 1, the guide says negative prompts have no effect.

The package’s speed and unrestricted-generation language remains the author’s claim; AITrending has not benchmarked these conversions or tested their filtering behavior. Its card declares the Qwen Research License. For readers choosing a local setup, the useful recommendation is to select a compatible runtime and budget for all components before treating a compact diffusion file as the whole requirement.
