Author-published AgenC terminal demonstration showing test execution and read-before-edit checks in a checkout service.
Still from the demonstration embedded in the v0.19.9 English README. It illustrates the terminal interface, including its displayed never-asks mode; it is not a demonstration of the new default-mode network approval retry or an AITrending test. Full frame preserved. AgenC Core timeline

AgenC Core implements the agenc coding-agent command. Its local daemon manages sessions, provider calls, permissions and command execution for terminal, headless and background-agent clients. It is a standalone agent harness rather than a foundation model or an extension for another coding assistant.

The project uses the MIT license and publishes macOS, Linux and Windows installation routes. Provider access requires suitable credentials or a configured local model; software licensing does not include hosted inference. The installation guide distinguishes native Windows support from sandbox availability: Windows currently lacks the native restricted sandbox, while Linux and macOS have documented isolation paths.
