AlpineCode timeline

AlpineCode is a desktop interface and agent core that reads a selected project, edits files and runs commands through a documented approval flow. Its MIT-licensed Python core is separate from the desktop client, and users can configure models, instructions and custom Python tools.

The documented release supports Apple silicon Macs running macOS 11 or later. Users connect a supported subscription login, provider API key or local model server; the application license does not include provider access. Version 0.1.2 adds continuation of conversations started in Claude Code or Codex, skills import and project maps, according to its release notes.
