AndroidHarness timeline
AndroidHarness is a standalone Kotlin and Jetpack Compose application for Android 8.0 or newer. It provides an agent workspace, file editing, shell and Git tools, with optional SSH workspaces. It is a harness that connects to models, rather than a model or an extension for another coding agent.
The project is MIT licensed. Installation is available through its Google Play link or a source build using JDK 17 and the Android SDK. The built-in keyless provider has model-specific rate limits; other cloud endpoints use configured credentials. Compatible 64-bit devices can use downloaded GGUF models locally. Cloud-backed sessions can send prompts, project files and command output to the selected provider.
