Autolith timeline
Autolith is a standalone terminal agent hosted in a live Common Lisp image. The project documents self-modification, recovery images, MCP connections and provider authentication through subscriptions, API keys or local Google Cloud credentials. It is a harness rather than a model provider; access and charges depend on the selected provider.
Packaged releases support Linux and macOS on x86_64 and aarch64, Windows on x86_64, and FreeBSD, NetBSD and OpenBSD on x86_64. Nix is another installation route. The software uses the ISC license. Version 0.67.19 documents detached session starts and resume by conversation-ID prefix.
