Gentle AI timeline

Gentle AI configures coding-agent environments with workflow guidance and integrations such as Engram memory. It is distinct from Gentle Shell, the separate Pi-based runtime and interface. Installing the configuration binary alone does not establish that the separate runtime has been provisioned or that every agent integration behaves identically.

Version 4.3.1 was released on October 27, 2026 at 18:35 UTC. Its release notes describe terminal-interface installation, management and updates for Gentle Shell across Linux, macOS and Windows, component-scoped updates, and a GitHub Copilot CLI adapter. Windows remains supported through Go installation; the release does not provide official Windows archives or Scoop publication. AITrending has reviewed the English documentation but has not independently installed or tested this release.
