Mycelium timeline
Mycelium organizes sessions from Claude Code, Codex, Kiro and OpenCode into folders, extracts reusable knowledge and carries context into sessions started from the application. It includes a standalone terminal interface and a VS Code extension, also available through Open VSX for Cursor and Windsurf. It is an application around agent tools, not a model provider.
The MIT-licensed project requires Node.js 22.16 or newer and git. Its documentation describes a local store at ~/.mycelium without its own server or telemetry, but AI operations use the user’s authenticated agent CLI and send session content to the selected provider. Existing account usage and provider costs still apply. Extension v0.2.4 adds confirmed deletion of Mycelium session records and bulk acceptance of staged knowledge updates; deletion requires CLI v0.5.4 and preserves the original agent log.
