Orca timeline
Orca organizes terminal agents, files, Git worktrees and code review in one desktop application. Its documented agent choices include Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and Pi. Orca is the workspace around those agents, rather than a model provider or a replacement model subscription.
The project distributes macOS, Windows and Linux desktop builds, plus an iOS and Android companion that pairs with a desktop host. The English README documents downloads and a macOS Homebrew cask. Users bring the sign-ins or subscriptions required by their chosen agents. The application code is MIT-licensed; that does not include inference charges.
Version 1.4.230 adds Antigravity support to experimental native chat, attachment and queue improvements, account-switch restart offers and remote-workspace fixes. Remote chat capabilities can depend on the host version. Allowing an SSH host’s Orca CLI to control desktop browser tabs is an explicit host setting, not an automatic consequence of connecting over SSH.
