PigPig is a Discord application rather than a new language model. Its English setup guide describes a Python 3.11+ service, FFmpeg for music and configurable local or external model access. Self-hosting requires Discord credentials, application settings and the Python dependencies; external model providers may charge separately. The repository is MIT-licensed.
Version 3.5.0, published October 19, 2026, adds AI-directed music controls through a shared MusicService, persistent listening preferences and restart-safe reminders, according to its release notes. Its memory features can retain server conversations; the setup guide explains how to disable long-term memory. AITrending has not installed the bot or tested its playback behavior.
