PortOS timeline
PortOS is a self-hosted application for one developer’s machine and private Tailscale network. It combines application management, an agent orchestrator and creative workflows including music-video planning and rendering. Coding harnesses such as Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode are separate from the configured model providers.
The October 15, 2026 version 2.96.0 release adds shot-by-shot final music-video rendering with cached per-shot film looks, timed lyrics and transitions. Its README requires a supported Node.js version, Git and PostgreSQL, and describes an optional instance password that is off by default. AITrending reviewed the English documentation rather than installing the application or running its media pipeline.
