slicc-agent timeline
slicc-agent is the browser-worker agent core used within SLICC’s surrounding kernel, interface and host environment. It builds on pi’s durable harness and can preserve a conversation in OPFS-backed SQLite. It is a component package, not a standalone model or a separately bundled inference subscription.
Version 6.16.0 adds device-code sign-ins for xAI, Kimi For Coding and ChatGPT through pi-ai. xAI and Kimi retain API-key entry. The integration uses the host’s vault and transport, with provider-specific browser connectivity requirements.
The npm package is Apache-2.0-licensed and declares Node.js 24+ for its package tooling, slicc-kernel at least 1.110.0 and below 2, and slicc-spectrum compatible with 1.98.0. The README documents updating the package through pnpm upgrade @ai-ecoverse/slicc-agent within its host installation. Model-account access and provider limits remain separate from the package.
