UNCUT timeline
UNCUT is a standalone command-line coding-agent harness for shell pipelines, CI jobs and local model servers. Its README describes one static Go binary, four tools and OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions connections. It is MIT-licensed, with binaries for Linux, macOS and Windows on amd64 and arm64.
The project calls its transport lossless because the harness does not summarize or truncate valid UTF-8 prompts, files, command output or stored history. Model context limits and provider processing still apply. UNCUT is not a sandbox: shell commands execute with the operating-system user’s permissions, and there are no approval popups. Version 0.1.1 fixes Windows command quoting and adds documented transport checks. Those tests are not a benchmark of coding quality.
