Figma Next

A public design-editor demo

Mana’s founder shared Figma Next on Hacker News on October 12, describing a Figma-style editor built with Claude Opus 5.5. The linked English report shows an editor with frames, components, vectors, prototyping, comments and export, and links to a public view-only demo. Mana says the build took eight prompts and lists the infrastructure its platform supplied, including storage, hosting and live collaboration.

Scope of the claim

The report says the editor still lacks variants, component properties, styles, variables and some prototyping features. Its renderer benchmarks compare two versions of this demo on one machine, not the demo against Figma. The build time and feature-parity claims are the creator’s account, not an independently audited comparison.
