Sudo Code timeline
Sudo Code runs as scode, a standalone Rust coding agent that edits files and executes tools. Terminal, editor and Sudowork clients use its shared engine through terminal or ACP interfaces; the selected upstream model provider supplies inference.
The project publishes macOS, Linux and Windows builds and uses the MIT license. Model access requires a supported subscription token, proxy credentials or provider API key. Its documented runtime permission default is danger-full-access; users can explicitly choose read-only or workspace-write modes. Version 0.2.33 documents maxSteps limits on completed model/tool rounds and negotiated durable completion delivery for supported native-storage ACP clients. Neither feature is a model capability benchmark or a hard spending limit.
